Weekend route

Downtown, Baylor, and Cameron Park

Friday stays on Austin Avenue and Franklin Avenue. Saturday crosses Baylor's academic core to the Brazos and McLane Stadium. Sunday joins the downtown Riverwalk to Cameron Park.

Walk Austin Avenue and eat downtown.

Check in downtown, see Austin Avenue's historic storefronts, and continue toward the Brazos before dinner on Franklin Avenue.

4:00 PM

Saturday

Cross Baylor's campus to the Brazos.

Begin in Baylor's red-brick academic core, continue to the river, and see McLane Stadium before a barbecue dinner on the university side of Waco.

4:30 PM

Afternoon

Cool off beside the river or at the hotel.

After the campus walk, use the riverfront or hotel for a break before returning to the Baylor side for dinner.

Sunday

Walk the Brazos, then climb into Cameron Park.

Begin on the downtown riverfront and historic Suspension Bridge, then drive into Cameron Park for cedar woods, limestone bluffs, and a river overlook.
