Dallas–Fort Worth

I-35E from Dallas and I-35W from Fort Worth join near Hillsboro before the final southbound run to Waco. Baylor and downtown use different exits once the Brazos comes into view.

Austin and Central Texas

I-35 is the direct corridor from the south. The road follows the Central Texas city chain toward Waco, where the Silos, downtown, and Baylor each appear from different exits.

Houston

Texas 6 through Bryan–College Station and Hearne is the usual diagonal approach from Houston. It reaches Waco from the southeast rather than joining the Austin–Dallas I-35 corridor for the whole trip.

Flying

Waco Regional Airport has limited commercial service. Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Dallas Love Field, and Austin offer broader flight choices but leave a substantial road transfer.

The final mile

Each Waco district has its own arrival

Baylor events, McLane Stadium football, Magnolia Market, downtown museums, and Cameron Park open onto different streets, lots, and walking routes. Current venue and city maps show the right approach when a game, graduation, festival, or construction project changes the familiar way in.
